Veneer Placement

Post-Operative Care Instructions

Cosmetic Procedures

Veneer placement enhances the appearance of teeth by applying a thin layer of porcelain or composite material. Our holistic approach ensures biocompatibility and integrates care for long-term oral health and aesthetics.

Post-Procedure Care

Follow these guidelines to support your recovery and healing

Immediate Post-Operative Care

  • Initial Care: Avoid biting or chewing on hard foods immediately after veneer placement to allow the adhesive to set properly.
  • Comfort Measures: Use a cool compress externally if mild discomfort or sensitivity occurs.

Diet & Activity

  • Diet: For the first 48 hours, stick to soft, non-abrasive foods. Gradually reintroduce regular foods while being mindful of hard or sticky items that could dislodge the veneer.
  • Activity: Normal activities may resume, but avoid extreme temperature changes in beverages during the initial healing phase.

Oral Hygiene

  • Brushing: Use a soft, non-abrasive brush and natural toothpaste to clean around the veneers gently.
  • Rinsing: Rinse with a warm herbal solution (chamomile or sage) starting 24 hours post-procedure to reduce any potential irritation.

Holistic & Natural Support

  • Herbal Supplements: Consider natural anti-inflammatory support if minor sensitivity occurs.
  • Preventive Care: Incorporate regular holistic oral hygiene practices, such as oil pulling and mindful brushing techniques, to prolong the longevity of your veneers.
