Post-Operative Care Instructions
Cosmetic Procedures
Tooth whitening enhances the brightness of your smile using gentle, yet effective, bleaching agents. Our holistic protocols minimize sensitivity and protect enamel while achieving natural, radiant results.
Post-Procedure Care
Follow these guidelines to support your recovery and healing
Immediate Post-Operative Care
- Rest Period: After the whitening procedure, allow your teeth to settle; avoid any abrasive activities immediately.
- Rinse Carefully: Rinse your mouth gently with lukewarm water if any residual bleaching agent is present.
Diet & Activity
- Diet: For 24–48 hours, avoid staining foods and beverages (coffee, tea, red wine, deeply colored sauces).
- Activity: There are no significant activity restrictions, but be mindful of any discomfort while chewing.
Oral Hygiene
- Brushing: Use a soft-bristled brush and a non-abrasive, holistic toothpaste to maintain the whitening effect.
- Flossing: Resume normal flossing habits but avoid over-aggressive techniques that could irritate sensitive areas.
Holistic & Natural Support
- Desensitizing Rinse: Use a natural, desensitizing herbal rinse if you experience mild sensitivity (e.g., aloe vera-based solutions).
- Additional Care: Incorporate oil pulling as a gentle adjunct to help maintain oral cleanliness and support enamel health.
