Crown & Bridge

Post-Operative Care Instructions

Restorative Procedures

Crowns and bridges restore tooth function and aesthetics. Our holistic protocols focus on preserving natural tissue health and integrating biocompatible materials for lasting results.

Post-Procedure Care

Follow these guidelines to support your recovery and healing

Immediate Post-Operative Care

  • Initial Rest: Avoid biting or applying pressure on the restored area for the first 48 hours.
  • Assessment: Verify that no excessive pressure is placed on the crown/bridge immediately following placement.

Diet & Activity

  • Diet: Stick to soft foods for the first two days; gradually reintroduce firmer foods as comfort allows. Avoid sticky, hard, or chewy foods.
  • Activity: Light activities are encouraged; avoid any strenuous exercise that may affect the new restoration.

Oral Hygiene

  • Brushing: Use a non-abrasive, soft-bristled brush with natural toothpaste around the margins of the crown/bridge.
  • Rinsing: Rinse gently with a warm herbal solution (e.g., chamomile or sage) starting 24 hours post-procedure.

Holistic & Natural Support

  • Herbal Teas: Consume soothing herbal teas to reduce inflammation.
  • Mindful Eating: Chew slowly and mindfully to allow the restoration to adapt and settle.
